Playing Free Linux Games | Ubuntu | Fedora

Hello,

This post is some what different then Howtos.

Yesterday i was passing some time on Linux and was bit free so though about playing games on Linux, Usually i don’t like to play that much games but Tried and Found Few Games which has good graphics and impressed with those games.

Car Racing games as well as Balancing Bike Game in Linux.

Here I am mentioning Those games which has good graphics and interesting games, I hope you guys will like those games.

If you like those games please post some comments, I will try to update game names in the same post if i get time to play some more games , In This Post i will also mentioned that Howto Install these games in Linux.

Games which I like most :-

1. TORCS :- Linux Car Racing Game

This game is for those users who is interesting in Car Racing. This game is having very nice Graphics. You will enjoy playing this game.

In Ubuntu You can install it by using Following Command  ( You must have root rights to Install it ) :-

root@tejas-barot-linux-ahmedabad :~# apt-get update

root@tejas-barot-linux-ahmedabad :~# apt-get install torcs

In Fedora You can install it by using Following Command  ( You must have root rights to Install it ) :-

# yum list

# yum install torcs

( You may require to configure some repositories if above command doesn’t works)

2. SUPER TUX KART – ( supertuxkart ) Super Carting Linux

This Game is like Linux Car , This game is good one for those who likes Carting. Its a TUXKART, Penguin sitting inside car and It will Ride Car For you and take you to the winning Point

This game is also contains very nice graphics, You will like this game but it has bit small cars so you might feel like Kid but believe me you will love racing……

3. Xmoto – MotorBike Control Game in Linux

This game is fantastic. Its easy to Balance your Bike in Real Life but Very Hard to Control it over here, In this game. This Game contains 2D Graphics and Fabulous Game, You will enjoy this game and will enjoy to control bike if you can.

You will love balancing bike in Xmoto

In Ubuntu You can install it by using Following Command  ( You must have root rights to Install it ) :-
