  1. As Jeremiah said. Me to can’t get keyboard and touchpad working. Tried ubuntu, mint, mint debian and fedora. “Touch” is working fine

    Thanks for the advise

  2. It won’t even boot beyond the acknowledgement screen for H. Peter blah on my Lenovo s210 Touch.

Debian Wheezy, meanwhile, installs fine. No touchscreen support out of the box, but it’s otherwise very stable and usable.

  3. Dear Tejas, I followed your advice for gospel and bought the thing. Truly, hardware-wise its a marvel. However, I cannot install Ubuntu (13.10 is what I downloaded) on it. No I tried unetbootin and UUI to create me a bootable USB and also a hard-drive partition (frugal drive is probably the technical name) but its of no avail. I am perfectly ready to remove the entire windows 8 thing if I only knew how. A step by step instruction would be very much handy. I am requesting you for this most particularly because apparently you are the only person/website/authority google could search out who has spoken of running Linux on S210T.

    Thanks a ton!
