[SOLVED] Fedora 15 df -h duplicate/double Mount Point Bug ???

Hi Friends,

I was very much excited to Install Fedora 15 on my Laptop, Installed it Successfully and Working fine, Shortly I am going to post steps to Install Fedora 15.

There is a 1 more reason for Excitement to Install Fedora 15 is GNOME 3. First Screen is Fantastic. I just liked it so much. Very Nice Graphics.

Exact after Installing Fedora 15, I just opened Terminal and Execute df -h guess what ??? I came to know about the Bug on Just First command. Got little bit disappointed, because df -h shows duplicate mount points. Don’t worry, Google Helped me to solve the issue.

OUTPUT looks like follow :-

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
rootfs                 49G  4.7G   41G  11% /
udev                  490M     0  490M   0% /dev
tmpfs                 498M  560K  497M   1% /dev/shm
tmpfs                 498M  668K  497M   1% /run
/dev/sda2              49G  4.7G   41G  11% /
tmpfs                 498M  136K  497M   1% /sys/fs/cgroup
tmpfs                 498M     0  498M   0% /media
/dev/sda1             485M   31M  430M   7% /boot
/dev/sda2              49G  4.7G   41G  11% /tmp
/dev/sda2              49G  4.7G   41G  11% /var/tmp
/dev/sda3              49G  4.7G   41G  11% /tejas-barot
/dev/sda3              49G  4.7G   41G  11% /tejas-barot

In Above output you can see that it is showing multiple mount points, Duplicate mount points into df -h command.

TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE Execute Following Commands as root :-

#/etc/init.d/sandbox stop

# chkconfig sandbox off

# init 6

On Next reboot you will not see that duplicate mount points into df -h command. I don’t know the exact issue why this service is creating issue, but this is the way to solve, I am finding the thing for the same and will post it in details.
